What is Our World?
Our World is a venture studio building infrastructure and tools for what its founders describe as a sovereign, autonomous, and interconnected world where humans and intelligence can thrive together. It operates as a parent organization that develops or backs ventures across digital sovereignty, decentralized infrastructure, and special economic zones.
Who joins Our World?
Our World is structured for builders, founders, and operators interested in long-horizon infrastructure plays rather than a residential community. Its main public touchpoint is via its ventures - most prominently the Zanzibar Digital Free Zone, which is open to companies and founders setting up operations on the island.
[ HISTORY ]
Our World is co-founded by Kristof De Spiegeleer (CEO), with a leadership team that includes Adnan Fatayerji (Telecom Strategic Relations), Chris Camponovo (Director, and co-founder of the Zanzibar Digital Free Zone), and Florian Fournier (Marketing & Business Development). The organization grew out of the broader ThreeFold ecosystem and has since extended into adjacent ventures focused on sovereign infrastructure.
The Zanzibar Digital Free Zone is the most concrete venture currently spotlighted on the Our World site, and the organization has been visible at events including DePIN Summit Africa.

Our World operates internationally rather than from a single physical hub. The most prominent geographic anchor in its venture portfolio is the Zanzibar Digital Free Zone - a special economic zone in Zanzibar, Tanzania - which is where most of the organization's tangible on-the-ground activity is concentrated.
